Job summary

Medasource seeks a Device Deployment Technician in Fort Wayne, IN. This on-site, 9-12 month contract role involves installing, configuring, and testing end-user devices across clinical and operational settings to support Epic systems and patient care.

You will label, inventory, and validate devices, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with clinical staff to minimize workflow disruption. Travel to multiple facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting end-user devices in enterprise or healthcare environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test end-user devices (workstations, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals).
• Ensure proper integration with Epic systems and applications.
• Label, inventory, and place devices per deployment plans.
• Perform device validation, connectivity checks, and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on-site.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and support during deployments.
• Document deployment activities, assets, and issues clearly.
