Job summary

National Distribution & Contracting in Conway, AR seeks a Distribution Center Manager to lead the Preferred Medical Distribution Center. You will oversee operations, safety, customer experience, and financial performance while building a high-performing team.

You will drive continuous improvement, partner with stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality management throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years experience in a distribution center with progressive responsibilities including leadership.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare/pharma distribution is strongly preferred.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and FDA compliance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop people, processes, systems, staffing plans, equipment needs, and facility layout to provide a positive and profitable customer experience.
• Lead the distribution center team and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain strong customer relationships.
• Invest in recruitment, training, coaching, development, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
• Manage individual and team performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
• Identify root causes of performance variances and implement corrective actions.
• Champion continuous improvement to improve customer experience, cost, quality, and safety across the site.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and a safe workplace through training, safety talks, and best practices.
