Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and lead Distribution Center operations in Allentown. The role focuses on outbound, warehousing, shipping, delivery, and inventory accuracy, driving performance to meet service and cost objectives.

The candidate will oversee safety, quality, productivity, and customer service, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 9+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience, preferably in healthcare/medical devices.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred; ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse practices.
• Strong financial acumen with prior P&L responsibilities.
• Ability to lead large, complex initiatives and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Directs PM operations within a DC or multiple functions, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
• Coach and mentor teammates; provide feedback and corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve DC metrics and financial performance.
• Oversee customer service, order fulfillment, and coordination with Account Management and Corporate Ops.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs/WIs and regulatory requirements; supervise succession planning.
