Job summary

Datavant is seeking a patient-focused customer service professional for our Knoxville, TN site. You will handle inbound calls, email inquiries, and release of information requests with accuracy and HIPAA compliance, while maintaining 100% quality and service levels.

The role requires proficiency with multi-line phone systems and MS-Office, and a high school diploma. Training provided; occasional overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute.
• Friendly, professional manner of communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with multi-line phone system; intermediate/advanced MS-Office proficiency.
• Experience in data entry, medical records, health care, insurance claims processing, proofreading/editing.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Answer and conduct business on the telephone with excellent customer service.
• Answering release of information related telephone calls and inquiries.
• Review, research, resolve and respond to inquiries via telephone, email or written correspondence.
• Document all calls, inquiries and resolutions in the software systems.
• Follow department/site processes and maintain confidentiality.
