Job summary

Datavant, a healthcare data platform, is seeking a detail-oriented health information clerk to support the processing and safeguarding of patient health records. You will handle requests for records, ensure privacy and HIPAA compliance, and provide administrative support across the site.

Ideal candidates possess a High School Diploma or GED, strong English communication, and basic computer skills. The role may involve calls, data entry, and occasional walk-ins, with a standard Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process legal certification and subpoena requests accurately and in accordance with privacy requirements.
• Receive and process requests for patient health information.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with privileged information.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk-ins.
• Perform general office duties and data entry as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and security of records.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.
