Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a customer-focused Customer Advocate to serve as the primary operational liaison for our hospital customers. You will work closely with Sales Account Executives and customer stakeholders to ensure exceptional service, contract compliance, and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where building strong relationships and solving complex challenges drives improved customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, customer relationship management, sales, or related fields.
• Experience across multiple systems and reporting platforms is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary operational contact.
• Manage day-to-day customer support and respond to requests and operational needs.
• Ensure contract compliance and service expectations are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide consistent information and seamless support.
• Coordinate hospital conversions and liaise between hospital leadership and internal departments.
• Analyze sales and operational data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Manage pricing, product conversions, contracts, and substitutions.
• Review inventory, backorders, and critical product lists with customers on resolutions.
• Establish customer accounts, ship-to locations, and reporting requirements.
