Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Customer Service Representative to help individuals navigate healthcare programs. This part-time, on-site role in Phoenix, AZ offers paid training and a starting pay of $18.22 per hour with bonus opportunities up to $2,880.

You’ll handle basic inquiries across multiple channels, use our systems to track information, and ensure HIPAA-compliant service. Evening/night shifts include a 10% differential; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally and fluently.
• Must participate and certify in internal training to begin this role.
• On-site work at Phoenix, AZ office is required; no remote option for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for basic and routine inquiries via multiple channels (phone, email, web chat, or letters).
• Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
• Responds to inquiries by referencing published materials or guiding to senior staff as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of client regulations and policies and follows privacy rules (HIPAA).
• Assists callers with online applications and submission for processing.
