Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Cook to join the Park Terrace Village kitchen, delivering nutritious, resident-focused meals while upholding the highest sanitation and food safety standards.

You will follow recipes, prepare meals in appropriate portions, supervise serving and storage, and help maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior institutional or healthcare experience preferred; GED or high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must have food safety knowledge and be able to follow nutrition-focused menus.
• Experience in institutional or healthcare food service is preferred.
• Certification in sanitation or safe food handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares meals meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Cooks nutritious meals in required quantities and maintains quality.
• Leads kitchen tasks, food prep, trays, and storage operations.
