Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare accounting experience, preferably in a Critical Access Hospital.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting Duties and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with accounts payable and payroll and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Develop internal controls and safeguard assets; analyze data for trends and opportunities.
• Assist in annual audits and cost report workpapers; support regulatory compliance.
