Job summary

Eastern Commercial, the healthcare-focused division of Eastern Companies, seeks a senior superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects in California. You will manage field personnel, coordinate with Owners and A/E teams, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, maintaining Procore records, and driving site logistics and look-aheads, while mentoring field staff and ensuring compliance with project

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in construction.
• 8+ years of experience in California healthcare construction.
• Lead Superintendent on multiple HCAI/OSHPD projects valued at $3M–$10M+.
• Experience with major acute-care hospital renovations and related areas.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• ICRA training/certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• LEED/ASHE healthcare construction training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, overseeing all field activities, subcontractors, and deliveries.
• Maintain safety protocols; enforce OSHA and company requirements.
• Manage schedule execution and short/long-term planning.
• Coordinate inspections, quality control, and contract document compliance.
• Maintain organized, professional jobsite environments and drive timely closeout.
