Job summary

McFarland Construction is hiring a Healthcare Project Superintendent II to oversee field operations for healthcare construction in a design/build environment. The role leads subcontractors and trades while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to plans, schedules, and healthcare regulations.

Experience in occupied spaces and complex MEP systems is preferred. The position requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication with clients and facilities personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Procore experience required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and documents.
• Willingness to travel to various project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day field operations for healthcare construction projects from mobilization through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trades to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals.
• Review plans and contract docs to ensure compliance and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean jobsite, including occupied healthcare environments.
