Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Project Manager Construction (Full Time, Days) to lead complex hospital renovation and new construction projects. You will manage every phase of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through procurement, construction, cost/schedule control, risk management, and close-out, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 6

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or related field (or 10 years of related work experience).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in healthcare project management, commercial construction or facilities planning/capital project management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, and executes multiple construction & renovation projects to meet program requirements, budget, safety, and time constraints.
• Coordinates projects with all stakeholders and provides ongoing communication about impact and status.
• Develops move/equipment management plans and leads implementation.
• Manages procurement process and participates in contract negotiations from RFPs.
• Obtains required hospital approvals and submits documentation for purchase orders.
• Documents project information accurately and maintains current records.
• Ensures compliance with AHCA, ADA, NFPA, OSHA and local codes; takes corrective measures.
• Assesses risks and implements mitigation to avoid delays/cost overruns.
• Reviews progress and identifies actions to ensure milestones and tasks are completed.
• Develops and delivers project management training and process improvements.
