Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager to plan and manage complex projects including renovations and new constructions. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project life cycle while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of equivalent work experience, along with 4-7 years of experience in healthcare project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management is required.
  • 4-7 years experience in healthcare project management or commercial construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages construction and renovation projects.
  • Coordinates projects with stakeholders and communicates ongoing status.
  • Manages procurement process and contract negotiations.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Evaluates risks and implements mitigation strategies.

Skills

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to prepare project scope, budget and schedule documents

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management
5 years of equivalent work experience
