Job summary

Hourigan is seeking a collaborative Project Manager in Virginia Beach to drive complex construction projects from initiation to close-out, delivering on time and within budget while ensuring an exceptional owner experience.

You will own project finances, schedule development, subcontractor coordination, and safety adherence, mentoring a small team and fostering Hourigan's culture of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years general contracting experience.
• Extensive experience with estimating, means and methods, accounting, and document administration.
• LEED certifications are preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with scheduling software Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Some periodic travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own all project finances and internal financial reporting.
• Prepare project construction schedule with Superintendent and input from subcontractors.
• Coordinate activities with Superintendent and project team.
• Review and approve all subcontracts and changes.
• Manage RFI/RFP processes and Owner change orders.
• Oversee project close-out and logs; ensure safety practices per SHMS.
