Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking an Onsite Project Engineer (PE) / Quality Control (QC) professional to support healthcare construction initiatives in Honolulu, HI. Responsibilities include site planning, safety and quality control management, and coordinating with subcontractors and staff.

The role requires reading contract documents and drawings, attending meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Strong ability to read, comprehend, and interpret contract documents, construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals.
Experience in Medical/Healthcare Construction preferred.
Knowledge of safety and quality programs and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in generating project site deliverables, site planning and logistics, quality control and safety management.
Inspect and evaluate work area for compliance with plans and contract documents; report deficiencies.
Attend site visits, design meetings, progress meetings, and final inspections.
Develop, monitor, update, and communicate progress schedules; coordinate with subcontractors and trades.
Interpret plans and contract terms to staff, workers and clients.
Maintain Safety & Health Plan and Quality Controls Plan to contract documents and specs.
Inspect and document site operations to ensure contract compliance and monitor building codes.
Investigate delays or incidents and implement corrective actions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
