Job summary

CORE Construction in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead multiple healthcare construction projects across Tucson/Southern Arizona and the Mountain West, ensuring financial, technical, and client-service success. You will oversee budgets, schedules, procurements, subcontract administration, and coordination with clinical staff while maintaining patient care continuity in occupied facilities.

Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project-management experience, including at least 3 years directly managing healthcare construction projects.
• Experience managing construction within occupied and operational healthcare facilities.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent small-to-mid-sized projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, additions, expansions, and/or new construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout, turnover, and owner training; manage budgets, GC costs, forecasts, schedules and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with field leadership to align safety, quality, schedule, budget, logistics, and owner expectations.
• Support compliance with applicable guidelines and CMS/FGI/NFPA requirements; mitigate impacts on patients and facility operations.
• Participate in preconstruction budgeting, ROM estimates, value analysis, procurement strategies, and owner/design-team engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare owners, clinical staff, and trade partners; mentor junior team members.
