Job summary

Leopardo is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee mid-sized projects within the Healthcare group. You will manage budgets, schedules, permits, subcontracts, and client relationships, while supporting preconstruction efforts and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields and 5+ years of PM experience with estimating. Strong knowledge of blueprints and scheduling software is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields or equivalent training.
• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager with estimating experience and a clear understanding of the business side of construction; field experience is a plus.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of each phase of the construction process, including architectural design and blueprinting, and a knowledge of the market/industry.
• Proficiency with project management and accounting software; ACC Build is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support preconstruction efforts on negotiated projects; prepare budgets and estimates, solicit bids from subcontractors/suppliers, write scopes of work, and review bids.
• Develop, monitor and maintain a detailed master schedule and cost estimates.
• Coordinate preparation of permit applications and submittal of updated permit documents.
• Negotiate, award and write subcontracts; ensure certificates of insurance and proper approvals.
• Manage RFIs and change orders, maintain logs and coordinate meetings.
• Build and maintain client/owner, architect and subcontractor relationships; mentor staff.
