Job summary

Leopardo Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its healthcare market in the Hoffman Estates, IL area. The role involves end-to-end project leadership—from budgeting and scheduling to subcontracting and client relationships—for large, complex healthcare projects.

The candidate should have 10+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of construction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture related fields or equivalent training and related experience.
• 10+ years in progressively responsible role with extensive estimating experience.
• Experience working on senior living and/or healthcare construction projects.
• Proven record of success on large and/or complex projects.
• Deep understanding of each phase of the construction process.
• ACC Build experience is a plus, OSHA 30 Hour and LEED GA credentials are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, execution, and completion of complex/large projects in healthcare market.
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and procurement; monitor productivity and profitability.
• Coordinate communication between teams and cultivate client & A/E relationships.
• Prepare and review budgets, estimates, and general conditions within the project budget.
• Coordinate permits, schedules, RFIs, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Lead preconstruction efforts and establish project goals and projections.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, developers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure inspections, quality control, safety procedures, and closeout documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture related fields or equivalent training and related experience

10+ years in progressively responsible role with extensive estimating experience

Experience working on senior living and/or healthcare construction projects

Proven record of success on large and/or complex projects

Deep understanding of each phase of the construction process

Significant training with ACC Build (plus)

OSHA 30 Hour certification

LEED GA accreditation
