Job summary

Leopardo Construction, an ENR top 400 general contractor, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead healthcare projects in Cleveland. You will oversee administration, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across teams, driving productivity and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture related fields or equivalent training and related experience.
• 10+ years in progressively responsible role with extensive estimating experience and an understanding of the business side of construction; field experience is a plus.
• Experience working on healthcare construction projects (in-hospital preferred).
• Proven record of success on large and/or complex projects.
• Deep understanding of each phase of the construction process, including design and blueprinting, with market knowledge.
• Training with cutting edge technology, processes and procedures; ACC Build is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of overall administration, execution, and completion of complex and/or large-sized projects.
• Monitor productivity and profitability; manage communication between teams; resolve conflicts; cultivate client & A/E relationships.
• Prepare and incorporate general conditions work into overall budget; coordinate permits and project projections.
• Negotiate, award, and write subcontracts; manage bid/post-bid risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain a detailed schedule with key preconstruction activities and critical path.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates; review job costs, billings, and pencil draws for pay applications.
• Review invoices for goods purchased; manage shop drawing/submittal schedule, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate and conduct required meetings; ensure inspections; enforce safety & quality control.
