Qualifications

• Completion of coding program and CPC certification required.
• Three years of coding experience; proficiency in E/M and ICD-10 coding.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Vaccination and immunization requirements as detailed by HealthPoint.

Responsibilities

• Audit provider documentation to identify coding errors and provide analysis aligned with guidelines.
• Meet with providers to review audit findings and improve coding accuracy.
• Audit Coding Specialists and provide training based on findings.
• Support billing team on coding questions and guidelines.
• Review patient records to ensure ICD-10 and CPT codes reflect documentation.
• Attend meetings on billing, coding, and compliance topics.
• Develop training modules from audit findings and emerging error trends.
• Maintain attendance and professional conduct in a team environment.
• Uphold HealthPoint values and mission in daily work.
• Participate in staff meetings and committees as needed.
• This role is hybrid, requiring occasional in-office presence for business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
