Job summary

The Client Setup Quality & Configuration Summer Intern at Independence Blue Cross will support benefit configuration accuracy, QA, and process improvement. You will analyze benefit data, assist with configuration testing, and help optimize workflows in a healthcare operations setting.

This hands-on internship runs June 1, 2027 to August 6, 2027 at 1900 Market Street in Philadelphia, offering exposure to data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Junior, Senior, or Recent graduates (within one year of program start date).
• Minimum GPA of 3.4 or higher.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts and AI tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support quality assurance and benefit configuration activities.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting to identify trends and process improvements.
• Participate in testing and validation efforts related to benefit configuration changes.
• Create and maintain presentations, reports, and documentation.
