Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL, is seeking a full-time Client Services Representative to support patient care units and off-site lab customers. The role includes courier dispatch, data entry for lab orders, results and billing, and telephone customer service from Tuesday to Friday 11:30am–8pm and Saturday 7:30am–4pm.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, strong English communication, multitasking ability, and composure in stressful situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and composure in stressful situations.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and use computers.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Courier dispatch, reference lab order entry, results entry, billing applications, referred test services, specimen receipt, specimen quality assurance, specimen processing and distribution, and phone customer service and reception.
• Investigate issues a client may bring to their attention.
• Reconcile interface issues between HealthLab and outside reference labs.
• Monitor outstanding labs and enter results into the electronic lab system.
