Job summary

STV is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to lead capital projects from planning through closeout, serving as owner’s representative and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. You’ll manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality while prioritizing patient safety and continuity of care in active healthcare environments.

Ideal candidates will have healthcare construction experience, strong communication with executives and clinical users, and a track record of delivering $10M+ projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, building sciences, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management or construction management experience, with healthcare or complex institutional projects.
• Experience as owner’s representative, PM, program manager, or CM.
• Healthcare project experience, ideally $10M+.
• Experience in occupied healthcare environments.
• Budget, schedule, contracts, change management, and project controls experience.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate with executives and clinical users.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s representative for healthcare capital projects.
• Manage projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, turnover, and closeout.
• Lead architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clinical stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, invoices, and project controls.
• Monitor milestones, risks, and deliverables and resolve cost/schedule/quality issues.
• Oversee design and construction for contract compliance and client objectives.
• Coordinate construction in occupied facilities with minimal patient impact.
• Facilitate project meetings and report on schedule, budget, risks, and decisions.
• Support procurement, contractor selection, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
• Coordinate shutdowns, relocations, commissioning, and phased occupancy.
• Ensure ICRA/ILSM infection control and safety compliance; mentor junior staff.
