Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Real Estate Development & Facilities professional to plan, coordinate, monitor, and direct facility design and construction projects on Long Island. You will evaluate design documents, develop budgets, track progress, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least four years of design/construction experience in a major facility setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a healthcare-related field or equivalent training.
• Four years design and construction experience in a major facility setting.
• Certifications in project/construction management in healthcare will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate designers, contractors and vendors with the project team.
• Update AutoCAD/electronic databases and provide necessary information to staff.
• Prepare contract documents for bidding to outside contractors.
• Manage capital project progress and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and schedules, liaising with regulatory agencies.
