The position requires a Bachelor’s in architecture or engineering, at least 5 years in healthcare construction, and a Certified Healthcare Constructor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or engineering strongly preferred or Equivalent Trade experience.
• Certified Healthcare Constructor Required within 1 year of hire.
• At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects in healthcare or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of construction practices, methods, materials, and applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction/renovation projects across hospital campuses and off-site locations.
• Develop scope, budget, and implementation plans with system leaders.
• Manage IHCT personnel, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to minimize disruptions to patient care.
