Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a seasoned capital projects professional to coordinate from programming through opening of facilities. You will manage schedules, budgets and contracts across networks and departments to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

The role requires strong project controls, scheduling and procurement knowledge, plus experience in healthcare construction and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field.
• Five years of capital program experience with administration/expediting substantial phases of projects.
• Ability to manage complex problems with independent judgment and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintains management information systems for project planning and control.
• Establishes project time and cost schedules and tracks progress.
• Coordinates activities between agencies, departments, consultants and contractors.
• Reviews schedules and reports to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Oversees consultant selection, contracting and post-occupancy evaluations.
