Job summary

Haverhill Behavioral Heath seeks a Director of Business Development to lead our Business Developer team in growing inpatient referrals and launching the outpatient department. This onsite role focuses on market expansion, relationship building with physicians, and strategic marketing initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and at least five years in healthcare business development, with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Five+ years’ healthcare business development experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive referral growth strategy.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and leadership to drive revenue goals.
• Document activity in Salesforce and prepare regular performance reports.
• Identify and pursue new referral sources; manage relationships with physicians and care teams.
• Hire, develop, train and supervise department staff.
