Job summary

Exalt Health, LLC is seeking a Business Development Director to drive referral growth for our acute rehabilitation hospital. The role leads BD initiatives, builds physician and insurer partnerships, and travels within the assigned territory to expand market share.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare BD or marketing, with strong analytical and leadership skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of proven success in business development or marketing within healthcare; inpatient rehab desirable.
• Active RN/PT/OT/SLP license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead market analysis and develop strategies to drive referrals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans for patient census growth.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians, case managers, and insurers.
• Collaborate with marketing to create outreach materials and campaigns.
• Travel daily within a designated territory to referral sources.
• Oversee Clinical Liaisons, set targets, and monitor plan execution.
• Prepare regular reports for hospital leadership on BD activities and outcomes.
