Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical office.
• Ability to read, understand, speak, write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Knowledge of Nevada insurances.
• Superior knowledge of authorization/verification process.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and verify eligibility and benefits.
• Schedule, coordinate, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in the RIS.
• Communicate patient financial responsibilities clearly and courteously.
• Assist with administrative tasks (faxing, printing reports).
• Train and support peers and new team members.
