Qualifications

• Associates in Business or related field or equivalent.
• Experience with EMR, document management, or payer websites.
• 1 year experience requesting authorizations.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of CPT codes, J codes, and ICD codes.
• Medical registration or scheduling experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtains insurance verification and benefits using an automated tool, payer websites, or by phone.
• Obtains all necessary authorizations for visits and documents information.
• Organizes and reviews daily work activity to ensure completion.
• Answers calls and emails professionally, maintaining positive relationships.
• Participates in hospital educational programs to maintain skills.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
