Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a motivated Architect to join its Healthcare Practice in California. The Architect will lead multiple projects through design, documentation, and construction administration as part of a project team.

Must hold an active architectural license in at least one state and have Healthcare Design project experience. The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and adherence to NELSON standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Architect with strong Healthcare Design experience.
• Proficient in producing construction documents and understanding building codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee Concept through Construction Documents using required software.
• Coordinate work with internal and external consultants.
• Review Shop Drawings and respond to RFI's.
• Attend construction meetings and site visits as needed.
• Sign and seal drawings; ensure QA procedures are followed.
• Support project leadership and mentor junior staff.
