Certus Healthcare Management is seeking a Collections Coordinator to support accounts receivable for our skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This full-time role focuses on collecting outstanding balances, resolving discrepancies, and communicating respectfully with residents, families, and responsible parties.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, at our corporate office in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Starting salary is negotiable, with a baseline around $40,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or billing preferred.
• Healthcare billing experience a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn billing software.

Responsabilités

• Review aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Contact residents, families, and responsible parties regarding outstanding balances.
• Explain charges, answer billing questions, and help resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate payment arrangements within company guidelines and monitor follow-through.
• Work with facility business offices and corporate AR staff to address payment barriers.
• Maintain accurate records of collection efforts, commitments, and status.
• Identify unresolved accounts and elevate concerns promptly.
• Protect confidential resident and financial information.
