Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Third Party Billing to manage billing and collections for Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers across our Ohio communities.

You will ensure accurate claims, timely transmissions, and robust AR aging oversight while collaborating with sites and payer contacts to resolve denials and optimize cash flow. This role requires attention to regulatory requirements, data integrity in EMR, and proactive communication with facility staff.

Qualifications

• Three years of billing operations experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Reading/writing/speaking English required.

Responsibilities

• Billing and collecting for Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers.
• Prepare and transmit third-party claims electronically within monthly timelines.
• Review and balance ancillary service files for accurate billing.
• Ensure required documents are scanned into EMR before claims release.
• Monitor AR aging and pursue resolution of outstanding balances.
