Job summary

Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our care team. You will support the day-to-day accounting functions and assist the finance team in billing and collections.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage with weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, and benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least six months in bookkeeping or accounting;

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Discuss billing situations with residents and/or responsible parties, including the Director of Finance
• Maintain accurate and timely records and reports, including all accounts, journals, deposits, ledgers, and more
• Secure all cash and valuables on hand, per policy
• Back-up for the Payroll position
• Complete Medicaid redeterminations when applicable
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Financial Services
