AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System in Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a full-time Applications Analyst to support software applications and data analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement innovative solutions, improve business processes, and deliver actionable insights.

This on-site role reports to the Applications and BI Manager and requires a Bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field and 2+ years in applications analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Informatics or related field
• Two or more years’ experience in an applications analysis and reporting-related position
• Experience in the Healthcare industry desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing software applications, working closely with employees and vendors to identify business requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
• Maintain master company-owned software systems: installation, configuration, maintenance, and support; resolve escalated Service Desk issues.
• Ensure data security with role-based access controls per HIPAA standards.
• Document processes and translate requirements into application specs; identify opportunities for automation.
• Develop SQL queries to extract and analyze data for reporting; utilize Excel for data manipulation and visualization.
• Design and deploy reports and dashboards to enable quick, informed decision-making and automate workflows to reduce errors.
