Job summary

Baptist Healthcare is seeking an Applications Analyst I to work with the health system's user community in evaluating, selecting, designing, testing, and implementing clinical and business systems. This role supports problem resolution, modifications, and new releases, with the ability to work independently on simple projects.

After orientation, you will specialize in a Baptist Health system and provide scheduled on-call coverage for a production system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably IT; 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Epic certification preferred; must be current or achieve within 6 months post hire.
• Demonstrates basic computer/software skills; can handle multiple priorities and work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, design/tailor, test, and implement clinical and business systems for Baptist Health.
• Provide ongoing support for problem resolution, applications modifications, and new releases.
• Work independently on simple to minimal complexity projects; collaborate with team on major/complex projects.
• After orientation, specialize in a Baptist Health system and provide on-call coverage for a production system.
