Job summary

Qualifications

• LVN or RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process to meet census goals and ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
• Plan, direct, and monitor daily Admissions Department operations.
• Screen and admit patients, verifying insurance coverage and admission criteria.
• Coordinate with nursing, case management, and discharge planners to ensure appropriate admissions.
• Maintain bed availability records and assist in pre-admission paperwork.
• Engage with physicians and referral sources to maximize admissions opportunities.
