Aventura at Oakwood Village in Ohio is seeking an Admissions Director to manage the admissions process for residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. The role focuses on building relationships, coordinating admissions, and working with healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth transition from referral to admission.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare admissions, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare admissions, healthcare marketing, business development, customer service, or long-term care.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions from referral to resident admission.
• Review referrals and coordinate with interdisciplinary team for admission appropriateness.
• Coordinate tours for prospective residents and families.
• Develop relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.
• Ensure admission paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain admissions records, reports, and tracking systems.
• Support census development and occupancy growth initiatives.
• Serve as liaison between referrals, residents, families, and facility staff.
• Communicate admission decisions and next steps professionally.
• Follow up with prospective residents, families, and referral sources.
