Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to support census development and manage the admission process at our skilled nursing facility in Florida. This role collaborates with the Center Director of Marketing and Admissions to ensure compliant, timely patient onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in admissions within healthcare, knowledge of Medicare billing, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Admissions or Marketing role within a healthcare environment
• Long-term care experience required
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and third‑party billing
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Center Census daily
• Maintain the electronic bed board/room assignments
• Collaborate daily with the Environmental team to ensure patient room readiness (acute discharges, bed holds, planned discharges, room moves, etc.)
• Communicate all acute readmissions to the Business Development team for follow-up and connect with patients/families to support the re-admission process
• Maintain and manage departmental data logs and reports, including tours, referrals, and trend reports
