Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a dedicated Call Center Representative to support members and providers by handling high volumes of calls and referrals in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will manage intake, coordinate with hospitals and clinics, process referrals and authorizations, and assist clinical staff with case triage.

Evening hours and flexible scheduling are required. Located in Henderson, NV, with training across clinics in Las Vegas and Henderson; Monday–Friday

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Handle high volume of incoming and outbound calls.
• Manage administrative intake of members.
• Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers.
• Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles.
• Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review.
• Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers.
• In charge of scheduling appointments.
