Optum in Henderson, NV seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to support the PPE vision, answer calls, schedule appointments, collect payments, review referrals, and coordinate care. This role operates 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday at 2300 West Charleston, Las Vegas, NV.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of medical office experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 2+ years of EMR experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and guests upon arrival
• Complete all tasks associated with patient check in in Epic
• Collect applicable co-pay, co-insurance and patient balance amounts
• Coordinating intake for infusion room patients
• Reschedule patient appointments due to cancellation or no-show
