Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, invites you to join our Southwest Medical Referral Office in Las Vegas as Senior Referral Navigator. You will support care teams by handling referrals, authorizations, scheduling, and patient communications to improve access to care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus 5+ years in medical customer service.
• 3+ years of experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient questions in person or by phone.
• Schedule patient office/infusion appointments.
• Process outbound referral orders and obtain prior authorizations.
• Reschedule appointments and back up call center duties.
• Document patient interactions in systems and ensure data accuracy.
