Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Toppenish, WA is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician I to join our centralized administration team. You will enter invoices into the accounting system and process payments per AP procedures, while handling refunds and vendor inquiries with accuracy and discretion.

This role requires a high school diploma (GED) and at least six months in an accounting or administrative role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
• Six months' experience in accounting, administrative, office or customer service roles.
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting is preferred.
• Proficient with basic accounting principles and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into the accounting system and process payments per AP procedures.
• Process patient account refunds.
• Process current maintenance and rental agreements.
• Scan and distribute invoices and refunds to designated parties.
• Review and resolve vendor account discrepancies and coding for GL accuracy.
• Maintain current payment agreements and year-end IRS documents.
• Open and distribute mail for the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
