Job summary

Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join our Accounting team in Yakima, WA. This on-site role focuses on processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

You’ll support month-end close, assist with audits and reconciliations, and contribute to organized, dependable financial operations that keep our organization running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• AA in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, or related experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you'll help ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time, vendor accounts are maintained, financial transactions are properly recorded, and accounting records remain organized and up to date.
• You'll also work closely with the Accounting team to support month-end close, audits, reconciliations, and other important financial activities.
