Dermatology Associates is seeking an Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to maintain financial records and handle payroll in a healthcare setting. You will manage accounts payable, GL entries, and invoicing while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role offers a professional, fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute to month-end and year-end closes, cash flow monitoring, and close collaboration with staff and external accountants.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with QuickBooks, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, and GL entries.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and general ledger entries
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner; perform monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly provider payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Monitor and manage cash flow, reporting discrepancies to management
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Coordinate with vendors, staff, and external accountants as needed
