Job summary

Dermatology Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to join our team. You will maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and payroll, and support month-end close in a fast-paced medical office.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and collaborating with vendors and external accountants while upholding GAAP and confidentiality. Healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with QuickBooks experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• GAAP knowledge
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Perform monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly provider payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
