Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid in St. Cloud, MN, seeks a full-time Project Care Navigator to help individuals access affordable healthcare coverage.

The role focuses on navigating public programs and private plans through the MNsure marketplace, working with attorneys and community partners in a hybrid office setting. The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to DEI principles.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MNsure Navigator certification or ability to obtain it.
• Experience in healthcare, public benefits, or nonprofit sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with low-income communities and social services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with obtaining and maintaining healthcare coverage (Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare, MNsure credits).
• Conduct client interviews to identify needs, barriers, and available resources.
• Help with applications, renewals, forms, and supporting documents.
• Educate clients on programs, eligibility, and community resources.
• Coordinate referrals with providers, social services, and government entities.
• Maintain accurate case records and monitor progress.
