Job summary

Saintjameshealth is seeking a Healthcare Navigator to assist patients with Medicaid, CHIP, and Federal Marketplace enrollment. You will conduct outreach, educate the community, stay current on rules, and help individuals navigate enrollment and eligibility processes.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You will collaborate with the Case Management team and participate in health events to support community access to

Qualifications

• Required: Exchange Enrollment Facilitator Certificate or complete training within 30 days.
• 3+ years of Healthcare Insurance Enrollment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Efficient with time management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel.
• Complete all related training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach activities and educate patients about affordable insurance options and Marketplace.
• Maintain expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program specifications and public education.
• Assist individuals with enrollment applications and understanding eligibility for individual plans.
• Stay abreast of regulatory guidelines and plan eligibility and system requirements.
• Resolve enrollment issues and help patients complete documentation to maintain eligibility.
• Collaborate with the Case Management team to improve communication and streamline processes.
• Attend community events, health fairs and informational forums as required.
• Track enrollment metrics and patient payments.
• Monitor and reconcile electronic work queues.
• Provide support with financial reports, projects and audits as required.
• Serve as a resource for registration and clinical support teams.
