Reporting to the Unit Manager, you will assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges, while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in medical record handling and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet staff, patients, and visitors at the unit and assist as needed.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper labeling and filing of forms.
• Coordinate patient location changes and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
