The HUC will manage admissions, discharges, and documentation, while maintaining unit appearance and supply levels. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Medical Terminology course is preferred.
• Graduate of Medical Office Professional or Medical Assistant program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remain flexible with 24-hour staffing and scheduling needs for inpatient units.
• Foster relationships with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and daily patient care activities as per Covenant guidelines.
• Attend required trainings and annual education milestones.
• Record and monitor patient flow and chart status in the EMR system.
